This is a small selection of woodworking tools we have available to give you some sense of the kinds of projects you may be able to complete in our space.
Band Saw
A band saw can be useful for many different wood projects, and allows you to quickly cut a piece of wood straight, or following a sketched pattern.
Drill Press
Use to make a precise 90-degree hole for joinery.
Miter Saw
A Miter Saw is a great tool to make repeatable cuts at a precise angle where the table saw might be cumbersome.
Scroll Saw
A scroll saw is useful to make precise cuts in complex shapes. It can make much tighter turns than a band saw.
Thickness Planer
A thickness planer can be used after the Jointer to get a board down to a final thickness before using it in your project.
Belt/Disk Sander
A Belt and Disk sander is a great tool to help quickly shape a part.
Jointer Planer
A jointer is a great way to get a straight edge on inexpensive lumber so you can glue it together to make panels, or just straighten a board out before using it in your project.
Router Table
A router table is a useful but seldom used tool to have in a wood shop. It can be used to do various types of joinery, as well as a more convenient way to add bevels or round-overs to your wood project.
Table Saw
A table saw is an essential part of any good woodworking project. allowing for repeatable precise cuts in larger wood panels or sheet goods.
